I am looking at building a budget gaming computer and I would like to know if this would be a good computer to play minecraft and other games while recording any ideas?

YES, fairly decent.

That is a very good budget gaming computer, don't listen to anything else.

You will however need a bigger power supply, AMD recommends a minimum of 500W (or greater) power supply with one 75W 6-pin PCI Express power connector for that Radeon HD 7850.

My advice is to get a 600W.



It is true that an Intel Core i5-3570K would be a much better processor, as it is the best for gaming nowadays, but it also costs $100 more.

Looking at your proc and gpu, your gonna need a more powerful power supply go to around 700 watt. Otherwise your system could be underpowered, possibly damaging your components or having problems booting. Let me know if you need more help.

Gonna be quite a bit of bottlenecking with such a good graphics and such a weak CPU. I'd suggest an i5.
