I'm looking to buy a decent gaming computer that can play most if not all games current and old (and coming out within the next year or so) on at least medium settings (i don't mind low settings if it will boost my fps for certain games). Basically i need a budget gaming PC that i can have now and as the years go by slowly upgrade it to keep up with the new games coming out.

My budget is defiently 600-700.It might be able to go higher than 700 it all depends how much money i can scrap up. But for now just a build that is in that price range (tax preferably included)

I live very close to a Microcenter so i could go there, do they build computers for free or do they charge for the building also with the parts? Thanks :)

In short- I need a gaming computer for 600-700 that is decent and good for future upgrades.

Do you WANT to build from scratch, or are you just looking for the most bang/buck in your price range?

I know Microcenter has the best prices on CPUs but I don't know how much they charge for assembly, or if they offer it.

In your price range the best performing option is often upgrading a stock machine from Dell, Gateway or HP with a better power supply and graphics card. Big manufacturers are often including a copy of Windows for about $30 rather than the $100 you'd have to pay building from scratch. But with that approach your future upgrade options are often more limited.

I don't think they'll build a computer for you, and if they do they'd probably charge a hefty price. You have 3 options, buy a brand name machine, buy all the parts separate and pay someone to build it for you, or buy all the parts and build it yourself (Building it yourself is the best way to spend the money)
