Hello!

This is a very difficult question to answer without more information, and without being there physically to see what you have done and how your pc is reacting. Firstly, an input device in terms of the bios generally refers to your keyboard not being detected. It is possible that the computer is not proceeding with bootup without the keyboard being detected, but I don't think that likely.

If I'm understanding correctly, you swapped out your old MOBO and CPU and replaced them with new ones. How did you do this? Are your CPU and MOBO compatible? Is the ram you used compatible with your new MOBO? Please post all your specs and as much information as you can.

Thank you.

First thing make sure your all the connections are tight, mainly the hdd, reset the cmos battery , go to the bios under boot priority make the hdd the first to boot from restart.

it sound like your mouse/keyboard/or monitor is not registering trying using a different port or different monitor

if it say it while your monitor is not even pluged in that is what it is.

Also if it is beeping listen to the beeps short long short and look up the codes i hope that helps.
