Sound from my computer?

suddenly, my computer plays any sound coming from my computer extremely slowly. I dont understand because it was working like 10 minutes ago. Can someone please help?

My computer does almost the same thing, but right now it's very silent.. it only does this when I'm scanning or when I have too many windows open, I would remove every software I do not need from my computer, then I would scan the computer to check for viruses.

as the person said above might be too many programs... or if you have an internet connection you may have ended up with some spyware that is usuing the processor on you... try running like Adaware or Spybot and see what happens

yeah that's possible - there could be programs running in the background that's slowing your computer down. try restarting your computer...



if you have an anti virus, you also might want to run a scan...

Check to see if your speakers are connected correctly. I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not though. Sometimes my cable gets loose and it plays sounds "lowly" but not "slowly".

It could be that your memory is low. Try removing unnecessary files off the desktop. Shortcuts tend to slow your system down.

Reboot the computer and see if the problem goes away.
