i would go for the AMD Phenom II X2 710 as the has 3 cores.

this processor also hav sufficient cache. the prce is also quite cheap.

chache allways wins pick amd phenom ll x2 550



also keep in mind it is VERY STABLE FOR OVERCLOCKING even with a regular heatsync i have never had any problems



make sure to include high speed ram if overclocking you dont want a bottleneck
