Changing my computer desktop font?

Question

I have Windows XP. I've tired practically everything, but I can't figure out how to change the desktop/start menu font. I went to control panel and messed around, but alas, I couldn't find anything.

Help?

Control Panel -> Display -> Appearance tab -> Advanced button



Select an item from the "Item" list and then customize individually using the other listboxes.

Did you mean wallpaper? then right click on any picture and choose set as desktop background.



But you can't change start menu font normally. To change it ,go to display properties and choose a different skin from the drop down list.
