Question:
My Computer Won't Install Anything?!?
?

I'm on Windows 7, and I got my computer about a year ago. The first few months it worked absolutely perfectly, but then it suddenly STOPPED installing programs I wanted to download/install. The programs download fine, but when I try installing them, an error message pops up saying something along the lines of "Cannot access Newtork Location %APPDATA%"

I tried a few different things to fix it, but nothing has worked. I gave up on it for a few months, but I realised that if I don't fix it, I'll have to buy a new computer because I won't be able to install updates necessary for programs to work. Example: I upraged my iPod touch to 4.0, but then it wasn't compatitble with itunes because I couldn't update iTUnes to 10.0! (I had to download Itunes to my friends laptop to get my music back.)

The last thing my computer let me install was Yahoo Messenger, which had a problem during installation and messed some stuff up. Could this have anything to do with my installation problems?

PLEASE, tell me you know how to fix this? I'm really desperate, I don't want to have to buy a new computer, I don't have the money and I like my current computer.

All help appreciated :)

you could try to restore your computer back to the point you could last install programs?

type in system restore when you click start and see if there's an option to restore it to the said date.

alternatively, see

hmmm it seems the registry keys created by win 7 have gone mad in your operating system.... its better to run a registry repair scan with reginout.
