I have a AMD FX-4100 processor and a basic motherboard. Everything is stock and nothing is overclocked. Graphics card GeForce 9800GT. I have 2 PWM fans running at 99% and FANIN0 running at 3571 RPM. Assembly and Air Flow are at 45C Degrees.

The processor runs at 55-62C Degrees when I'm encoding video. At the moment it's only running at 51C-52C while I'm encoding a 7 hour project.

Is this temp too hot?

I'm using HWMonitor to monitor temps.

I do a lot of video encoding, I just want to make sure I can leave my computer on over night when I have to encode large files. (I don't know why I'm afraid somethings gonna go wrong.)

Any help would be great
Thanks

Nah, the FX-4100 has a maximum operating range of 70 degrees centigrade. 62 shouldn't be a problem.

That's fine for a full load. If you re unduly concerned you could see if your encoding program allows you to throttle it back just a bit ( say 90 percent cpu time instead of an hundred). If it would be done before you get up anyway you won't even notice and that small difference in speed will probably save you 5 or 6 degrees.

The first 3 answers are good, actually if it gets too hot it will shut down and turn itself off. It's also very cheap to add 1 case fan if you have a place on your case that's available. Newegg has them, a 120mm fan is under $10, I actually bought 4 of them for $12.

it may. If the exterior temperature is inflicting your place to get warm, than clearly that could additionally reason the indoors temperature of the laptop to upward push, which if so might then reason the laptop followers to run at a greater RPM to attempt and funky it off.
