Is my my AMD Quad -Core processor ok for a gaming PC?

I'm thinking about building a gaming computer and I wanna know if the everything seems ok , but before I show the specs, I have to make a quick statement the processor I chose is an AMD processor ,and people say those are bad for gaming.

its an okay level cpu not a good one,most probably your cpu will tend to slightly bottleneck the gpu. You should go for a fx6300 hexacore its a great budget cpu or the fx8320 both of em will run your gpu at max performance.

depends on the games but more and more new games are coming out which benefit from more cores. The FX 4350 series really competes against i3 would do better.FX6300 and 8320 is a good compromise for a budget gaming build sitting right in between.



Ps>FX4350+R9 280 is good pair..no bottlenecks....

AMD is fine. They tend to do fairly decently in gaming, honestly, though they're a bit more power hungry and hotter.
