Hay i need some serious help in choosing a computer i thought first to customize but it can get very costly. So i wanted to get and intel PC but i have no idea what to choose im into intensive gaming, multimedia and video editing ect. And i wanted a PC that would last a long while not go out in like 5yrs. So i was wondering if anyone could give me some serious help in choosing the right one for me. Any help is most appreciated.

no computer is going to last 5 years and still be worth using.

Mesh http://www.meshcomputers.com/ are your best bet for affordable high performance desktops.

get the fastest and most maxxed out machine you can afford.

no stock machine (except Apple Macs) is going to have a lifespan of 5 years.

research for upgradable machines.

I would hazard to guess that in 5 years you would have to upgrade your hard drive 1-2 times, upgrade your RAM to the max at the start, upgrade the video card probably 2-3 times, you may need to upgrade the processor once (if you are lucky & it is compatible!).

seriously, any computer you buy today will be obsolete in 3-4 years. If you do not care about gaming, just internet, homework and things like that buy very cheap one. if I were you I would buy a laptop for about $500.
