PC Experts... I am looking to upgrade a high spec pc.. where to now?

Okay, so I have bought what i would consider my dream pc... well almost. Since the Days fo Duke Nukem 3D, the original command and Conquer, Jedi Knight 2, worms and warcraft 'orcs and humans' I have longed for a computer that can max out the graphics... so I sold my soul and a couple of limbs and bought this:

Intel Core 2 EXTREME x9650 3ghz
Nvidia GeForce 8800 ULTRA 768mb
4GB DDR3 1033mhz RAM
ASUS Maximus Extreme Motherboard
2x 500gb 16mb/7200rpm HDD
Windows Vista 64

Now as for performance... Halo 2, Battlefield 2, Gears of War, HalfLife 2, Need for Speed Pro Street and, as a member of fileplanet, most of the latest demos... these all run great... and i mean a max up EVERYTHING in the settings kinda great.

Then I installed Crysis.

It rund at a comfortable 35ish FPS with everything on 'high' and at 1680x1050 but at 'very high' it suffers... like 15fps.

What upgrades could i go for to make the game run at full settings?

My Mobo is not SLI!

Any advice.. thanks in advance?

eh the best thing you could do is SLI, but you could also use a program called ntune to overclock your graphics card a bit. Are you using directx10 or directx9? Crysis will run much better with directx9. Oh and also, lower your resolution to like 1024x768 and try it on very high. That'll give you a better FPS

Edit:

you have WAAAAYYYY more than enough RAM.

you should look into SLI. i reccomend the EVGA 780i. slap on another 8800 ultra, and youre good to go.

other than that, the only thing i could think of is overclocking the CPU and RAM. i wouldnt touch the ultras, since they bleed out heat already, and OCing would only make them hotter.

if it still doesnt work, then i say youre out of luck, mate.

hardware variance. i know, it sucks. but its the reason why people have different performances even though their system specs are exactly the same. think of how sometimes you get DOA mobos. same theory here. some parts run better than others of their model.

The games you listed run great? Are you joking ? Anygame out there would run great on that system lol but i would go sli and liquid cooled

They say 64 bit really shines with 8 G of memory, which is a much cheaper step than going SLI anyway.

hmm... WOW thats like a $3000 computer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ........ u could add more ram to make it work faster but 4gb is plenty but otherwise there isnt so much so just add some memory(RAM)
