Yes but you have it backwards.

Mac= what you wrote on PC

PC= What you wrote for MAC

Absolutely not. That is a very incorrect statement with no basis whatsoever in fact.

Apple is essentially a closed proprietary system, and is not designed for tinkerers or enthusiasts who like to build, tweak, upgrade, and/or work on computers. But the PC is an open system and can be built from scratch and made as powerful or as weak as you want it to be. If you have the money - you could put together a $4000-5000 PC with a i7 3970x CPU and a multiple card setup with two or three GTX 690 graphics cards. Off the chart powerful and fast. There is no Apple system anywhere that could even come close to that. Not even remotely close.

And Apple is most certainly not more "graphically advanced." You can only get whatever graphic card options that are available from their website when you order the computer. Yes they do now offer an nVidia GTX 680XM (a high end card), but with a PC you can put any card including a GTX 680, or any other multiple card set up, provided of course you buy the supporting motherboard. The sky (and your wallet) are the only limits when building a PC.

I'm not sure where you heard such incorrect info, and it makes me think you are trolling for a response. Also, either a PC or an Apple can be family friendly, depending upon what kind of system you buy, build, or configure. PC for more simpler means? Ludicrous and wrong.

Just to reiterate, remember this: The highest end most expensive Apple computer with the best possible options available, still can be topped 10 times over by a PC that you build. There is no limit to the parts and components that a PC can have as long as you have the cash. But Apple only offers so many different options. Apple has a limit.

No. A Mac is a PC.

You may be comparing an Apple computer with some other brand of computer using the Windows operating system. But an Apple computer can use the Windows operating system too. But as there are so many other brands of PCs each with a range of models and price points it is meaningless to make such generalised assumptions.

Professional users will require a reliable, secure and versatile computer which may well be a Mac or something from the top of the range by another manufacturer depending on their particular needs.

Other users may find that a cheap low end PC meets their requirements adequately.

This is a somewhat subjective question, but I disagree with it.

PCs are more technologically complex because users have far more control over software and hardware configurations. People can build windows pcs at home, they can't build macs. Only the apple company can build mac computers. The benefit of that is a more consistent product with fewer stability issues. Apple does have the advantage in graphics design and video editing because they design their own hardware and software specifically designed to work together for those specific purposes.

Windows PCs advantages are in office productivity applications, programming, servers, databases, and hardcore gaming.

So to say that macs are for people more experienced with technology and need 'advanced features' is incorrect except in the case of graphics and video design. Windows PCs can also do design, but macs have the advantage in this area.

It's also very subjective to say which is easier to use. Windows has been around for many years and is already in many homes so that's probably the main reason people think they are easier to learn when compared to the growing number of macs.

I think the trap you are falling in is Apple's marketing. Apple technology is generally considered the cool thing to buy, one reason being the focus on graphics which is easier for the public to understand than the boring business productivity capabilities of windows. Graphic design is beneficial and has it's place, but it's the business productivity and infrastructure that are the truly important features that technologically advanced users use and it's what we all rely on.

No.

Mac's are for people with money to burn.

PC's are normal machines that can run a large variety of different operating systems including Windows and the approximate 365 different versions of Linux.

that is so false windows is not fro simple means u can use it for advanced stuff hers how it goes

MAC-for people who like to waste money or have the money to waste and for professional movie editors it can be better

PC-people who only d basic things and for gamers and advanced tasks(most popular os in the world and every game compatible with it and has most compatible programmes)

LINUX-more for ppl who dont need the compatibility with programmes or games and just want a simple free os and for technological based ppl

CHROME OS/CHROME BOOKS-more for ppl who only use the internet and never install 3rd party programmes or play any games only ideal for interbet

but windows is better as it has most compatible programmes and its most popular schools businesses professionals use it and even movie editors as u can buy sony vegas for it which is a really good video editing programme or theres free ones but there quite simple

i used to have a old imac G4 which i bought second hand in 2009 didnt quite see how it was worth the money macs are so sold it 2 months later and carried on windows i mean i like mac osx but i just dont see how its worth such a huge price tag and used to have dedicated linux machine i love linux its so cool but been windows user whole life

this is slightly impossible to analyze the two, as a results of fact that they are no longer even in the comparable Ball Park. they are technically the two desktops (own desktops) i've got responded a great form of questions evaluating domicile windows, MAC and Linux without attempting to be bias in direction of any of them. this is a by no ability ending communicate, Stand at the back of your MAC, Stand at the back of your workstation and Stand at the back of this is working structures. the experts and Cons between them do no longer even upload as much as a honest and only assessment. there are lots of one sided evaluate web content that talk this difficulty, as there are people who use those desktops. you may as properly have your guy or woman critiques. wisdom and understanding the working structures placed a distinctive gentle on the comparisons. MACs have a particular purpose and that they stay in the confines of their own application and what application is written for it that works extremely with the no longer ordinary ware they deploy. they are sturdy, extremely secure and, maintain to a undeniable factor. desktops have no specific purpose, you throw any form of no longer ordinary ware you desire at it and throw any form of application you desire at it, as a result they have a tendency to crash and have subject concerns better than the different workstation. anybody can argue this or any element some one else writes approximately them.

MACS ARE WAYYYY BETTER.

mac vs. pc:

MAC pros: quality. the best built computer ive ever owned. theyre made out of aircraft grade aluminum. all cut from one piece of aluminum. very wasteful, but very good product.

-apple software runs much better on apple hard ware. way smoother. much cleaner when youre messing around surfing on the internet.

-macs have a much cleaner appearance on the screen. like going back and forth from my dads gay dell laptop to my mac book, it makes you cringe cuz the everything is so messy. better resolution.

-NOOOOO VIRUSESSSSS. this will make you wanna buy another mac. just this reason. the amount of money you pay up front buying a mac will make up for all the times you have to get your pc cleaned out and all the software you have to buy for pc's (that hardly do **** anyways) macs DONT get viruses. i look at pornhub all the time and download torrents and my mac hasnt ran any differently from the day i bought it. i dont have anti virus software on my mac right now.

MAC CONS: keyboard is a flat keyboard. idk, but its hard for me to type fast on a non-raised keyboard like all the pc's have.

-no games

-somethings are harder to find on macs than pc's. they dont give you the options like pc's do. like a simple "control panel" or "add or remove programs" would be nice if apple put that in there. itll piss you off immensely not being able to find things that should be in common sense places like they are in pc's

- basically software is a lot harder to find for macs than pc's but usually the stuff they do have out is better than the stuff youll find for a pc. because the people who make the mac software are mac freaks and they dont want the mac market ruined.

-if youre used to using a pc, then a mac will probably be a huge pain for you when you first get it. everythings backwards from how it was on the pc. not only that but the things that are suppsed to save time actually just waste time cause its not as simple like apple says it is.

PC PROS:

-easier to use

-cheaper to buy

-more software and hardware out in the market

-gameable

-upgradeable

cons- no quailty

-gets viruses every day

-cost to upkeep is ridiculous

-doesnt run as smoothly as a mac does
