Need to recover Desktop icons?

Thank you for the response, i tried all your ways. but is not succeds. As usual the os boots, instead of the loading the desktop icons a blue screen appears and disappear. then as usual the wall paper placed without the desktop icons. Also i have checked explorer.exe in the Task manager its running as normally.

I would not trust most registry cleaners as some do more damage than you started with. tune-up utilities is one that I do trust though.



Is the task-bar present when this happens? If so, your icons might have just been hidden (possibly by accident?). If this is the case...



right click on desktop >> arrange by >> show desktop icons

Is this item unchecked? if so, check it, and wait a few seconds. does this solve the problem?



If the task-bar is not present, try killing explorer.exe and restarting it.



The blue screen is probably the solid color background underneath the wallpaper.

try using Reg-Clean. Although, to get it to fix the problem, you will have to have the full version. Download a program called uTorrent, then go to mininova.org and search reg clean and follow the download instructions. Then run the program and click fix after it is done. There will probably be a lot of problems!

you could hit upon this technique in cdrive if this is the place your O.S. is and click on courses x86, hit upon this technique you like open the folder and locate the exe icon real click and make a quick decrease to it to private computer.
