The 6850 is a pretty good video card. You should turn down the resolution and other settings on your games. If you don't want to do that then you should really get a new computer if you want to run new games at their highest settings.

There may be something else wrong with your computer then, the 6850 should be able to handle any game out there at the lowest settings.

maximum desktops are without issues upgradable. variety-call desktops from HP, Dell, and so on., in specific circumstances have weirdness interior that makes specific factors confusing to enhance, yet different factors ought to be upgradable. between the the failings that may no longer common to enhance in a variety-call computer like HP is the motherboard or processor, by way of fact the motherboard is in many circumstances custom-geared up for HP and can't surely be replaced with something compatible. it might actually have a undeniable shape. this means which you will no longer be waiting to get a swifter processor without changing the computer or paying lots to HP. memory you could surely improve, inspite of the shown fact that during specific circumstances, you need to ought to purchase the memory at a extreme value from HP, if the motherboard does not use usual memory. extra effective memory basically somewhat improves overall performance. Ditto for the no longer common tension. it is only approximately specific which you would be able to set up an off-the-shelf no longer common tension in case you want. changing the no longer common tension won't velocity up the gadget, inspite of the shown fact that.

It depends, does it have a PCI-Express 2.1 port available in your computer? If so then yes you can get the 6850.
