But i just wanted to be sure if its safe and i wont have any issues after i install, I have to work on an iPhone app so it would be temporary, for now, but i plan to dual boot it with Windows 8. So i need an expert opinion on this help me please.

I've personally ran Mac OS X Tiger, Leopard and Snow Leopard on the trial basis. As long as working is concerned, I'd say it works. Yes, it works. It works at a good speed but cannot compare it to the OS running on native Mac hardware. It boots up OK, and startup is fine. Even web browsing is fine, but working with complex applications is quite difficult. I guess the speed problem would go away if you had an Intel processor and installed it using a Vanilla Kernel.

But keep in mind, you'll have to spend hours of continuous work to get everything right. You'll need drivers (more precisely Kexts) for your devices. Its not as hard as it may seem. And I assure you that dual booting is very possible on the separate partitions with whatever the operating system you're currently using, I used Chain0 for this purpose, worked flawlessly.

To get more dirt off your hands, backup all the data on the external device or online cloud. Because the risk of losing the data is very high. Especially when installing the SATA kexts or during partitioning.

I've provided you with the useful links below to get started. Wash your hands and get ready for fixing the kernel panics, and the random crashes.

You should be find installing it to another driver. Use the current drive for Windows 8 (did you mean 7 I haven't been keeping up recently with Windows much) and install Mac OS X to another drive. Depending on how your computer runs or how much RAM you have will determine how slow or fast it will be.

hi Imad ali khan abbasi, in every computer you have two files even in a mac computer they are fat and fat32 these are the support for a computer system. say like for a mac or a pc now even if you are using ntfs you still have those two files and without them your computer has no support and this is exactly why that a mac computer cannot work in a pc computer and the same with a pc fitting with a mac. besides mac has a very weak partition. now what does this mean to us? okay let's say we have a mac and we have an error any error what we do is to check the time and date if they are wrong than we have to pull out our trusty tuneup diskett out and reinstall the drivers to restore our database with pc you do not have this problem not unless your computer system crashed. how often does this happen? but how often do we get an error in our computer? good luck i hope i was helpful to you

Hackintosh works fine if you dont mess it up, personally i would use a third party boot loader like osl2000

Same drive is ok my main pc runs xp32, 64, vista, win7, osx, solaris n ubuntu across 2hdd's(mostly use xp64)

" i just wanted to be sure if its safe and i wont have any issues after i install" - Good Luck!

Everyone has "issues" with OS X on a PC. If it worked so well, Apple would be selling it to PC users and it would be legal to install on a PC.

as long as you have different hard drives for each OS's, you'll be fine

because installing 2 or more OS's into a single drive will more likely to fail
