It wouldn't boot, so a lot of things were deleted, I turned it back on, and I found most of my data whatever was gone, but it worked fine, alot faster than before, but I discovered the same speakers that worked before no longer work, nor any other speakers I have. Everything is plugged in, I checked the volume levels, but still no sound. I'm not a computer expert by any means but I think that something critical to the functioning of sound on my desktop was deleted when I fixed it. Am I missing a driver or something? How can I diagnose and solve this annoying problem? I've been at it for a while. Thanks.
