It may be a fatal error that is causing the computer to restart. You can easily stop the restart problem by changing your system

features to restrict automatic startup when your computer's having a problem. Here is how:

Use System Failure Settings to Stop Automatic Restarts.

1. Click Start and Open the Control Panel

2. Go to System and Maintenance, Click on System.

3. Select Advanced System Settings and choose Advance tab.

4. Under Startup and Recovery, click on Settings.

5. Under System failure uncheck Automatically restart.

Hope this helps!

Its a driver related problem.

Update the drivers for your chipset. If that doesnt work, check windows updates to see if there are any optional hardware drivers to install.

Sometimes windows will have conflicts with hardware, the 945gm chipset with a x1600 graphics card had a flaw where it would think it had 0 percent battery when it actually had an hour left. Go figure.

I could help you better if I knew which you had Mac or P.C. If you have a Mac make sure before you take out the Flash drive/thumb drive you drag it to the trash can which turns into eject. If you don't do this it can really mess up your computer. Also make sure that you don't have different files on your flash drive. If you have a flash drive with word documents from a Mac and you put that on a P.C. even if you don't open that document it will mess up your computer. I could give you more info if you would tell me if you have a Mac or a P.C. Please Email me applejackcherry@ymail.com and I can help you more.

Hope this helps.

I had the exact same problem with my mp3 player.

Well I'm not sure what causes it, but, you can try it on another computer.
