Download Ubuntu. Burn it on a DVD and install it. It can live on your computer with windows and you can pick which one you want when you boot. It's pretty easy to do. Its option 2 in the link below.

In my opinion wubi ( Windows Ubuntu Installer ) is the best solution as you will be
able to get the most out of Ubuntu ( max speed , etc ... ).
Now if you want to be sure that no problems will appear while dualbooting
Windows 7 and Ubuntu , then you should run ubuntu from a VM .
Remember that both methods are more to explore ubuntu and not to use it
as main OS .

Better? Dual-boot.
Easier? Virtual PC.

nicely while you're using a netbook than netbook remix must be the staggering one. whether, counting on the easily hardware on your netbook it must be the comparable as working laptop version. i think of the only authentic thank you to determine is to aim the two. =) Its unfastened why no longer attempt the two.
