I get a message window that pops up when I try to connect that says, "Remote Desktop Connection has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Send error report/ Don't send." Someone said to uninstall but I don't see anything on the add/remove programs for remote desktop. Anyone have a step by step fix? Oh ya, I'm running windows xp. Please help.

First try to connect the other system using Netmeeting if its Intranet or inside the room with two computers. If its outside someother place

then.........

Right Click on My Computer->Properties->Remote (Tab)->Check both things. Ok. and Apply.

I hope you are using Windows XP serivce pack 2 or sp3. If you are using service pack 1. download the latest sp3. and try to connect.
