i have tryed to look at my diva website but it tells me to click my active x control to view the?

page but it dont show up so now how can i get the active x control to re activate where would i find it to see if its even working or will i need to reformat my pc

This a feature introduced into internet explorer in the last auto update.
Microsoft is now required to have users manually activate embedded active X content (flash etc).
You'll see a grey box come around whatever the embedded content is requiring you to activate it. You can also hit space bar to activate it. Once its activated you can intertact with it as you normally would.
If its not working properly, you can try a windows update on your IE, if that doesn't work I would think that its the actual site that's causing problems not your PC. Alternatively you can download another web browser like FireFox and bypass the activation all together.

If you are using XP then the active bar under the browser Will pop up do a right click on it and it shall ask you to down load active x . Oh don't know for sure but it is a security thing I just looked at it from what the other person had to say.. Sorry I cant help much usually i can do better but I'm tired from work..

Tools >> Internet Options >> Security >> Custom Level >>
You 'll get options like "Enable ActiveX controls and plug-ins"
