Can I watch TV on my PC if my PC is connected to my TV via HDMI? I have it set up where I can use my TV as a PC monitor but is there a way to stream content from my TV to my PC using the same setup? I am connected via HDMI. Any advice?

i don't know your model of pc but I haven't seen too many hdmi ports that accept the video. No problem outputting but not for input. Also, hdmil is caught up in the HDCP (copy protection) and even if it took it I'd guess it still wouldn't work. Same goes for the vga output. It's just for output. Could it be done? yes. Is it done? Not that I know of. There are exceptions I'm sure as not everything is always protected but it still goes back to the fact that it's an output. Hopefully I'm wrong cause that would be nice.

Shame on you for wanting to watch content you paid for, on a device you own. Sir, please step away from the computer.

you possibly have switched over the alternative on the large visual demonstrate unit from the workstation then you definately could have a project with the workstation itself, i make the main of my workstation on a 37" sanyo liquid crystal demonstrate television at finished 1080p, i make the main of decision 1280x768 it easily relies upon if your photos card can help the comparable decision as your television, the final measurement is 50hz refresh at 1024x768, what measurement is the television, what refresh price can it help and at what scale 720p 1080i etc

You will need a TV Tuner which you can get as a card or USB. Alternatively use a website like TVCatchup
