Andy gives an excellent comprehensive analysis. I would add, however, that you do not mention if you will be overclocking. I am assuming you will not, as if you had you probably would not have overlooked the heat sink. If you are not going to overclock, there is no need to pay the premium for the K model. You could save some money by getting a similarly performing non-k.

Of course even if you aren't going to overclock now, the K would be useful in the future if you ever change your mind. I raise this only as a point to consider, not a condemnation of your choice.

Can't give you a really long answer right now, sorry. But from glancing over it I would highly reccomend getting 16GB of RAM, and it would be able to run the games you mentioned at 1080p, maybe even 1440p or 1600p(look up some benchmarks on your graphics card) however if for sure cant run 4k. Also if you can stretch your budget a little bit, a gtx 970 or a 290/290x would likely be a better choice for the graphics card.

Seriously, you don't need two DVDRWs. One will suffice. And try to get a GTX 970. It's worth it. Everything else is fine.
