No, hooking your PC to your TV will not damage it. That is what the graphics card is designed to do. Also that is a good build for running most games. I can personally vouch for it being more than capable to play Battlefield 4 on Ultra at 30+ FPS.

I have been running two monitors and two TVs hooked up to my system for years now. It does not damage anything.

no you wont damage the GPU in any way, the ps4 and the xbox one /ps3 and 360 plug into a tv both have similar cards to a pc, infact the ps4 and x1 both have AMD7850 style GPUs

i have crossfire set up to a 42" tv and i have never damaged the pc, you get a much clearer picture and it is perfect for using the pc as a media center or as a gaming rig. i use it for both

looking at your setup you shouldnt have any trouble running any game out at the moment or for the next year, at a later date you could upgrade your cpu to the FX8350 (8core 4ghz cpu) and that will last another couple of years without having to worry.

your build is similar to mine, the sony drives are very cheap and i have never had a problem with either of mine,

PSU is spot on,

depending on what your paying for the microsoft wireless mouse and keyboard, my one only lasted a few months, now i use a cheap one from maplins that i have had for 6 months, but then i may have had a bad microsoft kit.

RAM make sure they are 2x 4gb sticks, this way you can add a further 2x 4gb sticks later on if needed.

If you wanted to save money you could save the money on the aftermarket cpu cooler unless you are planning to overclock the cpu, in which case definitely get the Thermaltake cooler, if you do not plan on overclocking it is not neccessary.

good build pc, think i will have to redo mine soon, still running a phenon ii x4 :)

Nope. you can run on a TV...most TVs today are 1080P so you will get better res. that the older TVs could put out. Monitors are not TVs as they were made to give better Res. and more pixels so many TVs will have a bit "fuzzier" graphics. Its safe to use a TV.
