Yes it supports 16gb ram. Go and buy 4 4gb ram sticks and your pc will run like a charm.

Whats your O/S, Win XP pro or Vista? Win XP pro supports simplest 2.5GB RAM so little need striking 4GB of RAM on the motherboard. Put two sticks of equal 1GB RAM in alternate slots and you have an awfully rapid laptop.

Sounds like it has 4 sockets. If you get 4 4GB sticks, you can have 16GB.

Make sure it is a 64 bit windows or you can't.

a 32-bit system doesn't see above 4GB of ram. It'll show around 3.4GB max. The mobo supports max 16GB here.

@Danny: "Make sure it is a 64 bit windows or you can't."

Stop pushing that **** around, it's evidently false.

@Mirko: "a 32-bit system doesn't see above 4GB of ram."

This is false. Try using any x86 linux build with PAE support.
