First off I have a Compaq Presario CQ5320F PC. Ever since I opened up firefox I had a lot of tabs, I left my PC and came back and then to see it crashed. With this Startup Repair msg "Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically." And a Recovery Manager pops up.

I tried using the file backup program but it always says "There is currently not enough space available on the system partition for temporary storage during date compression."

I'm using a 1TB external harddrive!
I just want to know how to fix this, because I have vital files on my Hard drive and I need to save those now! Why isn't windows starting up?

I've done system restore
Repairing my computer doesn't seem to work

How can I back up my files if I can't even go to my desktop? And more importantly how can I fix this?

before everything, i does no longer propose having 3 distinctive virus protection courses on one equipment, because it creates clashes between the three courses. i could stay with Microsoft protection necessities, because it is been optimized with domicile windows 7 working structures. Use Microsoft protection necessities complete equipment test to discover the virus and then isolate it. additionally, you have gotten too courses loading on the boot, which could get replaced by potential of using: initiate > msconfig > Startup > disable any courses you do no longer decide directly to start (do no longer disable considerable drivers or domicile windows boot centers) apart from, delete any suspicious courses which you will have put in.

Remove the hard drive from the laptop and then connect it via a USB adapter to another (working) computer. Adapters are found here:

Then simply copy and paste your files and rebuild your laptop with the Windows Installer CD.
