Basically you are required to know which new hardware you have to add for making your computer faster. There is a computer rating program, called Windows Experience Index, which you need to launch for this operation. Then you will have to repair any errors/ problems found in your registry using a program called Reginout registry cleaner.

1. Click Start, type "Windows Experience Index" and press ENTER.

2. Click "Rate my computer" button.

OK, the most important thing is anti-virus protection to start with. This should remove an unwanted nasties that you may pick up whilst surfing and e-mails. Next is memory or RAM, if you can afford it then should max out the RAM as much as your motherboard can accept - 32 (x86) bit systems (the majority of installations) can accept up to 3.26Gb, so leave it at 3Gb - 64 bit systems can accept a whole lot more - infact more than you'll possibly ever need. Defragging the hard-drive can help, but with Vista and 7 it does it automatically when the computer is unattended for a period of time. General housekeeping such as deleting unwanted or unused programs will help, as well deleting internet browsing history, cookies and cache. Updating drivers (the things that make hardware work with the Operating System and other software) can help immensely, and if your OS supports it, keep Automatic Updates turned on as it will apply patches that will make the system more stable and efficient. Hope I've helped.

EDIT - Only trying to help, I'm sorry that you have taken offense to my answer. The thing is with open forums you are going to get answers that aren't what you want to read, or solve the problem you want to resolve. I won't be nasty but shouting and stamping will not get the results you want.

Whatever you do be safe, careful and mindful of others.

Peace.

i've got discovered an exceedingly elementary and consumer-friendly thank you to velocity up your laptop and it merely takes a minute or so.. bypass to C:WindowsSystem32 (the main uncomplicated place this folder is located) Now good click on the system32 folder and hit cut back, or ctrl+x. Now you're able to desire to have your recycle bin on your man or woman laptop for this area. Open your recycle up and paste the system32 folder. *observe* The recycle bin is merely yet another segmented area of your hardrive that very much compresses documents and courses. Doing this could eliminate each and all the stupid little device idol procedures that run interior the back floor of your laptop. (you will discover maximum of them in case you run your job supervisor and click 'procedures')
