Me and my friends have been playing League of legends recently and I cant play it on my desktop so I play on my family laptop. Because its a family laptop its always used and time restrained so the time I can use it is really short. Anyways, I dont know whats wrong with my desktop, on most games it says something like "Direct 3D not accelerated". Heres what Directx Diagnostic says about my desktop:

Page file: 1608MB used,2467MB available

On the display tab it says:

Chip Type: Intel(r)915G/915GV/910GL Graphics Chip
DAC type: 8 bit
Approx. Total Memory: n/a
Current display mode: 1280x1024 (32 bit) (1Hz)
DirectX Features

Any help is appreciated, I've been trying to find a way to get my desktop to play games for 3 years now! I had windows vista before and games worked but when I upgraded, they dont!

that's like getting a little honda civic to go 160mph. sorry to say but your laptop can't play 3D games, if the video card really is a "Standard VGA Adapter".

If you feel that your parent's laptop is really supposed to be a gaming laptop, then look up the model number on the manufacturer's website (if its an HP laptop, then go to hp's website, etc) and download & install the latest video drivers for it. But I can already tell by the info you provided , its an old laptop thats not meant for 3d games.

probably things need to be updated, outdated software and components, maybe virues, your ram is fine for league of legends, your graphics chip is probably not very good. could be many other things.
