You either have a busted RAM stick or you have them mixed up.

RAM compatibility is determined by type (DDR, DDR2, DDR3) and speed (333, 666, 1333, etc), if ya mix 'em up RAM defaults to the slower speed and yer OS complains.

My money says you have 2 sticks of different type and/or speed.

The IRQL is an Interrupt Request from the OS about the memory and offset locations of the RAM.

The stop is the location and offset by hexadecimal numbers.

Ain't ya glad ya asked?

Chances are you have different kinds of RAM, like one stick PC2100 and the other PC2300. Make sure they match up and you should be good. If one stick at a time works but they do not work together, that is likely your culprit. Good luck.

you will possibly desire to by no skill boot an OS after making memory configuration ameliorations until you determine the memory is stable in that configuration. For one ingredient, it grants no clever problem description. for yet another ingredient, you possibility corrupting your OS setting up. Use memtest86+ to substantiate the memory is stable or troubleshoot the configuration. in basic terms boot an OS after memtest86+ supplies the hardware a clean bill of wellness.
