99.9% chance you do not have them "jumpered" properly.



They should have come with a manual showing the proper jumper positions for setting them up in your computer. One will probably have to be "master" and one will be "slave", but there is also a chance you'll have to use Cable Select (or "CS"). It depends on if your old drives were set up that way, and whether you're using a new IDE cable or an old one.



There is a very slim chance you'll need to enter the computer's BIOS so the drives are detected, but I seriously doubt that this is your problem.



You may want to put them in one-at-a-time, and get the first one working before moving on to the second one.



You should consult the manual for the new drives, and, if you have it, the manual for your computer.
