If you installed a PCI Express video card make sure you have the power supplies PCI express cable plugged into the back of the card (it's usually a 6-pin PCI express input).

It wouldn't be a driver because the computer can communicate with the video card enough to display graphics without the driver. Besides... to install the driver you first must install an OS, and you can't install an OS unless you can see. It's definitely not a driver issue.

If you ahve installed all the components and you tuen it on and you get a blank screen, it means something isn't installed correctly. Check you memory modules and make sure all cards are all plugged in correctly...meaning make sure they are pushed all the way down. Of teh board has an integrated video card, you must hook the monito to it first, then go int the BIOS and disable it and then you will need to hook the screen to your addin card.

Some boards need 2 power cable attached to the board. Especially for boards that support Core Dio or i5/i7. Look neat the the top by the processor. There is usually a 4 prong connector. Make sure your power supply has this connector. Look @ this picture. This is the common connector - http://www.motherboards.org/images/articles/guides/20-into-24-pin.jpg

However ths is the other - http://www.certtalk.com/kb/article_images/702/fig-8.jpg - its the one with 4 prongs...make sure if your baord has this. teh 12v power connector.

Remove your video card and try starting up on the motherboard integrated video. I wouldn't install the video card until after I had windows installed and running.

Make sure all your connections are tight, including memory card(s).

Does the computer have ram?

Are you using the on board video card or a pci express slot?

Make sure that your video card is correctly plugged into the motherboard.

Check that all cables are connected properly in the computer.

Check that the monitor cable works.
