Hello sir.
My self sarvesh.
My question is: my computer restarts when operated normally.
:- actually about 3-4 months before this problem started. My computer runs smooth and normal. But one day i started my computer and for a couple of hours it was working fine and suddenly restarted.
I thought there may be a virus in it.so i scanned my whole PC but no virus/spy/Walwar was found.
But the same problem was there after a couple of hours.
I thought that may happened because of windows corrupted file so i quickly installed fresh windows and removed the older one.
but after that again the same restarting problem happened.
I then formatted my whole computer including my C,D,E,F etc drives but that didn't worked for me.
I thought that may be there is problem in my RAM or RAM slot.
I have tested the RAMs they are working fine.then i tested the RAM slots.but they are also fine.
I thought there may be problem in my HDD or MOBO.
I took the PC to the best computer repair shop.
They checked my whole computer software and hardware too.
And said that there is problem in my HDD (Bad sectors)
HDD was in warranty so i quickly replaced it (WD 1TB Black caviar).
Than i got a 2TB black caviar.
I buyed one more HDD Samsung 120GB because i was knowing that windows 7/8 cannot use 2TB as a boot drive.
Then i installed the windows 7 OS in my samsung drive and got an external casing for 2TB drive.
the 2TB is working fine but from the date of repairing and replacing i'm experiencing the same restarting problem.
I was dam sure that samsung drive in not faulty but i still tested it but a computer expert he said the drive is fine.
I tried interchanging the RAMs(But it didn't worked).
I tried running my computer in just 2GB RAM (This worked for 2-3 weeks)
Then i tried running my computer in just 1GB RAM (This also work for a few days)

Again for my satisfaction i have tested the RAMS but they are fine (Said by my cities 1st ranked computer repair)
I have formatted and reinstalled windows 7 (Not a genuine one,Copy from the original Windows 7 disk.but i did this copying for almost 4-5 times because i thought there may be a problem with the windows 7 original disk {Also i copied from my 3 friends different windows 7 OS but not a single worked}) many time about 9-12times

My computer config:
Windows 7 32bit
Intel Dual core @ 2.72Ghz
3GB DDR2 RAMS.
Nvidia 9600gt 1Gb graphic card.
1TB and also 2TB external HDD.
120GB internal drive (boot drive)
Bit defender 2013 total security.
Internet connection 1.7MBps.

This is serious problem I'm facing from last 3-4 months.
please help anyone.

Regards
sarvesh tiwari.

there are two reasons ofr it to happen

1-> when u are using a non genuine win version then it is must to turn off the auto-matic update...or else your window will corrupt no matter how many times it installs

2->it could be still possible that your ram is taking to much process.... and when it happens the ram needs to be reset and that what 7 dose.... to avoid ram reset you should uninstall some useless apps and it you want to un-install any thing then kill the process of the apps that you are not currently in use......!!!!

GOOD LUCK

hello sarvesh ,

i also had this problem very long ago. i was very worried about my pc.

now i will tell you what to do:

check the fan of your motherboard if it is running or not? if it is not running then repair it because if the fan will not run the system will get heated and will be automatically restarted in order to cool down.

secondly, if the fan is running properly then your motherboard has some internal problem. please try changing it.

how i solved the problem with my pc:

my fan was running but my motherboard was finished.

i suggest you to replace your motherboard.

Problems [DETECTED]

Bro your real problem is with your Storage device the "Hard Disk Drive"

=Explanation=

HDD + restarting pc = Broken or Corrupted HDD

==Fixes==

There are only two methods to fix your problem

1st. is Reformat and try to observe if it removes the problem

2nd. Buy a new HDD (Recommended)

A broken or corrupted HDD is one of the hardest to fix specially when its corrupted!

Hello, I am Anindo Chatterjee from Jharkhand. I am 16.

Sir, It must be happening because of the processor is heating up quickly, try apply some "cool-paste". But since you mentioned it is happening for about 4 months, It also can be because of power Fluctuation, try buying a U.P.S.

Best of luck

It sounds to me as if your Motherboard is shot or the turn on turn off switch has gone bad, which is the same as your motherboard being bad.

Change your motherboard or call the company if you're within warranty and get it replaced.

check your power supplies are connected properly

sometimes there are shortcurits whitch the pc cant handle may cause the restart ... old wires ...ur connection board(the long strip where all ur connections go ) might have some problem try changing that ..check all the plugs are connected properly done, see to that they move when ur using the pc...:)
