I've been having some issues with my computer. It started with my USB ports rejecting my external hard drives or anything that required the PC to dish out to much power... eventually, I started to have this problem where the computer would just restart whenever it felt like it or freeze.

For my brother, computers are a hobby, so I let him take a look at it since he put it all together. He told me it was the power supply. So I replaced it... the problem went away for about a week though before coming back two fold. Now, it would crash with a blue screen... even if I was just using AIM. The error was 0x000000019 I think.

So I did my own research and only found people mentioning a windows registry problem. Before I tried to fix it though my computer got worst. Now, It would seem to turn on (all lights would turn on and the computer sounds like it's running) but the screen didn't turn on.... I took my cords out of the video card and tried them in the motherboards built in video card but that didn't work either. If it did display something the computer would just recover, and then get a blue screen again when it came to starting up the desktop.... then the computer would cease to show anything again.

My brother tells me that it's now a motherboard issue since not even the motherboard could display any video. So I bought a new motherboard and it worked well last night but this morning, after the boot, the screen seemed like it went into standby but no matter what buttons I hit I could never pull it out of it. After shutting it down and starting it back up I was introduced to the old problem again. The computer sounds like it boots but nothing shows....

I've already spent $300 on the problem. I would take it to someone who can fix it but there is no one in my area... the closest shop is about an hour away.

So now I'm just desperate. Has anyone had to deal with this issue or knows what might cause the problem?

Thank you so much for your time.

First you need to clarify is the PC booting at all? are you seeing the bios splash screen and then the monitor darkens out.

The error you had has corrupted your registry on your PC but you should be able to boot the machine up having spent $300 fixing it my advice is to get a new tower

Just a thought have you considered it might actually be your monitor that is the problem that your monitor needs replacing try another monitor with your PC and see what happens

After reading these, my hands are in the air. Either it's the bios, which should not be the case with a new board, or it could be either the hard drive, or the RAM. With a new hard drive & windows 7, You'll have a new computer!

Windows XP serv pac 2, seems to rear it's ugly head in every article. Get 7, or else get SP3. Don't get Windows Virus (vista) You'll be SORRY.....

i don't understand yet i think of your integrated photographs card burned or short-circuited. and suited suited me if i'm incorrect everyone, yet integrated photographs are purely an element of your RAM used to generate video and the north bridge controls those issues so it might desire to be the north bridge that overheated and fried out.

no,

this is not a registry error.\It is a hardware problem.

you can replace the display card.
