My dell desktop will not start up?

It just gets as far as the windows xp logo and no futher,I tried start up in safe mode and tried last known good,to no avail.I did a hardware check and two errors showed up. error 1 , error code 2f00;0119system memory failure read fffbffffh expected ffffffffh at address 0604abbch suspected memory component located on system board label dimmi . error 2 error 0f00133d msg ide device failed incompatatible cd for testing problem preventing windows from accuratly checking licence for computer 0x80090006 As i am only a novice at computers i dont have a clue what this means or what to do next.

Your problem could be a number of things. The message (error 1 etc.) you can type into a search engine and you will get answers to your problem. You may have to look through a few to find out all the answers, but you will learn what to do next time you see any error report.

unplug everything and wait about 10 minutes. then you plug it back up and it should work. That has happend to me and it works. so try it.
