Uninstalling and reinstalling windows vista PLEASE HELP!?

So, my computer is having some issues, and its been running really slow. Adobe changed all my files to adobe reader files, and now they are all corrupted. I made a new profile on my COMPUTER and deleted my old one. Sadly now adobe flash does not want to install. Plus everything is super messy and i might as well just start over from scratch. What i need to know is how to uninstall windows vista, then reinstall it. If you could please put it in numberd steps!

ok you need to make sure you have all of the CDs that came with your computer. the video card drivers, the motherboard drivers, and the audio drivers and all of that.



1. turn the computer on and press keep pressing f2 until it takes you into the BIOS then search start looking for the boot or if that fails try again pressing the delete key.



2. once you're in the BIOS browse through the various menu options (dont change anything except what Im going to tell you to change) until you see something labeled "boot order", "boot configuration", "boot options" etc. it can sometimes be found in the advanced options. now once you find it check it and see if the cd drive is ahead of the HDD in the boot order. if it is, just exit the bios, if not then change it so that the cd drive is ahead of the HDD in the order.



3. put the windows installation disc into the CD drive, and then resyaty the computer. you might get a prompt telling you to press a button to boot from the CD. follow the prompt.



4. now go into setup when prompted.



5. if it asks you if you want to repair the existing set up say no and then reformat the drive. after that reinstall windows and all of your drivers, then you're good to go.

All you need is the FULL VERSION of Vista, not an upgrade version. You just set your CD ROM drive as the first boot device, put your full version of Vista into the drive, reboot and then start up the Vista installer. You will be given a chance to repair or go ahead with a new install - in which case, you will be allowed to wipe out your current partitions and reformat your hard disks.



Make sure you have all the drivers for your motherboard, video card, ethernet card, sound, etc. Especially take a look at any SATA drivers you need and have them available on a floppy disk or load them from CD prior to reformatting. If you have a self made computer, locate your motherboard CD. One way or the other, you will need all the drivers for all the devices on your computer for a clean install.

Adobe won't corrupt your files.



If your data was somehow damaged, you probably have a bad sector on your hard disk drive.



If, however, you do want to reinstall Vista, then simply insert your Vista installation disc and boot from it. The installation process is very straightforward. There is a graphical user interface and simple instructions for you to follow.



If your machine doesn't boot from the disc when you insert it and power the computer on, then please ensure that 1st boot priority is set to CD/DVD-ROM drive in BIOS.

If your computer was Windows vista when you bought it, you can not uninstall it. But here is what you can do.....



1. Uninstall Adobe Reader

2. Check your files, they should not be adobe anymore

3. Reinstall Adobe, if it happens again, uninstall and do not reinstall
