Mac’s & PC's both have there place in the world, & there are good reason why you would choice to buy a PC instead of a Mac or spend the extra $ & buy a Mac instead of a PC..

But I cant be bothered writing all the reasons, there’s Pages of reasons on both sides of the fence I could bring up because my job requires me to study up on this kind of thing.

Some MAC fans are cool, a lot of the cool Mac owners own both & use both, But most of the Mac Fanboys on the internet sites like youtube anyway are idiots that love flame people

They will say dumb stuff like "if you want to play games why not buy a PS3 or a 360 you idiot PC are for work you stupid fool buy a Nintendo Wii or something"
& other Mac owners will click the thumbs up in agreeance, Any one with intelligence will be thinking, OK not only does that PS3 cost like 2x as much as my PC it also uses more power then a small fridge & realise on you hogging the tv & my PC can produce similar graphics why would I want to do that for.

Also to strengthen my argument there all these videos people make about what a mac can do some of them are pretty good & most of them get high ratings But then you get a maybe 1 PC one that exactly like the Mac ones showing a PC can do the same thing & all the mac fanboys abuse the video maker & send him all these hate comments even though hes right..& the get low star ratings..

Anyway I watch these videos as I have an interest in Operating systems mostly PC & Linux but mac as well.also I was purchasing a new computer as my motherboard died recently & was trying to make a informed decision about weather to buy a Mac or a PC, Windows or Linux.

When ever I go to a friends house that has a Mac their like, "Hey come & look at what my mac can do"(ever though I've been doing the same thing on my PC for like 5 years) or "My mac looks so cool because the monitor & the screen are in the same box" & "PCs are so ugly, I bet if a computer takes over in the further it will be Macs"

I just wonder do you get ambushed by your mates trying to convert you to mac.

Many Mac users are former PC users. Some of us use Macs at home and PCs at work. So we know the difference between the two. We find it annoying that someone who clearly does not know what they are talking about starts spouting misinformation about Macs when giving "advice" to someone about why they should not get a Mac.

If someone wants to buy a PC instead of a Mac, I don't think there's anything wrong with that, but I don't think it's a good idea to shun one or the other based on lies.

The only place mac's had in the world was graphics and video editting, but that was about 6 years ago, not pc and mac are equal. But personally Linux is far more stable than both mac and windows. I use ubuntu server edition, fedora and backtrack linux.

Oh and as for games use "wine" it is not an emulator it is basically a runtime enviroment (wine stands for Wine Is Not an Emulator), I have run all my favevorite games with wine like call of duty 4

I don't think they are and, believe me, I'm surrounded by 90% Macintosh users. In fact, they're some of the most carefree people I've met, I mean not bothering with antiviruses and such. I find that PC users are the most frustrated kind and rightly so with their computers being susceptible to most attacks. Never met a more paranoid bunch.
