Actually business is better than home premium and if you try to buy one of these vista business is the expensive one.

But because you want to play games , to chat , play music, watch movies premium would be the better one for you.

Business is for business purposes.

Saying true i don't know if yours desktops specification will be able to run your Vista Business smoothly, but my friends laptop with business doesn't work that fast.

If you want to play games and do other stuff i think you should use one at least with 3GB ram and try vista ultimate, better than business or premium.

And Nvidia FX 5500(256 MB Ram) is not a good video card to gaming purposes.

It depends on your needs. Vista Home Premium does not support fax and scan at all for most printers that are just 1 to 2 years old. That means replacing your all in one's. Vista Ultimate has the best of both of the other two. Second although it may work on your computor, Vista is slower on your's because you need at least 2 GHz and 2GB of memory to start and run faster. This means replacing most computors. I checked into upgrading my HP to Vista and by the time I added Vista, Hard Drive, Norton, it was more feasable to just buy a new computor. I didn't find out about the fax and scan till after I was up and running again. This now means another $250 for Vista Ultimate.

Ge force 8500 or 8800 better for gaming. With PCI Express 16X.

I am just going to say one thing, look at your Vista experience score by right clicking "My computer" then properties... Your score is going to be poor because of all the dated hardware you have in your system, from processor to older ram and older graphics card. Premium would have most likely been better for you, because of the older specs of your system. I would figure Business has many added programs that if you try to run at the same time will load it down to a stand still...

Vista premium would have been better for you. All business has is help against hardware failure and business networking and remote desktop. While premium has experience photos and entertainment and windows media center. Do you have a business?

And I think business was 100$ more than premium. The difference is only two things.

Vista Home Premium is better unless you need athe networking stuff etc

Your PC will be able to run vista but it is not going to be smooth

I have built many a Vista PC and the key area is the hard drive speed SATA hard drive makes all the difference. Regardless of what others say 1GB can run vista fine unless you are like me and have loads of windows open

For you vista premium is actually better than business as you are more of a movie watcher and music listener, but no you didn't waste your money, it is only that business has many features that you probably won't use.

Actually you will be able to run vista well enough but you will have to sacrifice aero interface. I would seriously have recommended vista basic for your specs.

homestead top classification could be superb for a house consumer u do no longer would desire to have business enterprise or ultimate yet with Vista nevertheless different the applying doesnt help for it besides as some subject with it, notwithstanding it seems tremendous as long as you have a severe overall performance laptop.
