Ok recently i got a new computer from cyberpowerpc, and its a godly computer with only one exception, the sound, i dont know why but when i plugged my speakers from my old pc in to this one it started making the crackling popping sound whenever noise plays out of them. also the poping sound is louder than whatever is actually playing out of the speakers, i thought it might be just the speakers so i plugged in headphones to see if that was the problem and the crackling still consisted. i think it might have something to do with me switching to windows 8. i then tried many different things to fix it and now im at a loss so is there anyone who can help me with this? thanks in advance and sorry for bad grammar. preferably id like to have an answer that doesnt involve me taking apart my computer...

P.S. i just got this computer less than a week ago and i barely have anything installed on it plus it was making the crackling noise before i installed anything.

my pc specs/information: (btw this is just a receipt so it has some prices lol)

This is obviously a warranty problem., and you should exchange (not repair) the computer at the place of purchase.  Other than that, I can only suggest trying the motherboard maker's latest released driver.

It could be few issues.

1. Make sure the audio port and sound card are connected correctly if you are comfortable opening the case.

2. The audio port to the case might be bad. If you have a monitor, or HDMI port for the computer, then try hooking it up to tv or something like that to get the sound to play through a different port. That way you can judge if it is that particular audio port or the sound card.

3. Update your drivers.

4. Contact the company and explain it to them because you might have to send it back.

It might be the age of the speakers, and they might have gone bad. Your sound card might also have gone bad.
