go for nvidia 9600gt or with a little cash more, 9800gt.

nvidia is way better than ati and ati is way better than intel graphics.

check this out, it's nvidia deciding page for graphics cards. have fun:

Select and compare graphics cards, chose the price range, the power range and for what you're going to use your GC

Try buying more RAM for your laptop, there should be some space for extra RAM. If that doesn't improve performance, think about maybe upgrading your graphics card. Laptop graphics cards can be expensive due to space restrictions, but if you want to check one out I recommend the nVidia 7800gtx notebook graphics card. Nice piece of kit. Or if you don't want to spend too much cash, try just lovering the visual quality of the game, such as shadows, lighting, polygon counts to make it run quicker. It would look far rougher but would do the job.

Yes, nvidia and ATI are a lot better than Intel graphic cards.

yeah integrated intel chipsets are NOT for gaming... your friend told you to buy a new video card.. most nvidia and ati cards are better than intel integrated graphics chip. look on newegg.com at video cards.. there are a wide variety at various prices.

with video cards, memory (1gb) is not as important as the speed of the GPU chip.

Yes Intel do motherboards and processors but fail on graphics cards! nvidia have a good range of graphics cards

Yes.

When it comes to anything with 3D graphics or games, intel graphics are pure (bleep).
