just wondering here........i have a emachines t3642 PC that runs Windows Vista Home Premium and i was wanting to know if i would be able to turn it into a Mac??....i know i would probably have to install a new motherboard and put in a new hard drive and probably a new CPU that runs Mac but i have some extra ddr3 memory modules laying around, can i use those with Mac or is there different ones for Mac??.....i know, im probably better off buying a Mac but i already have an extra motherboard and memory laying around and i thought it might be fun to see if i could turn my PC into a Mac.......and i know the Mac OS is alot cheaper than Windows.

Running Mac OS X on a non-Mac computer is generally called a Hackintosh, because some hacking is required to get it to work. This is technically illegal, as the license agreement for using Mac OS X requires it to only be on an Apple branded computer.

It will b better for u to buy a Mac.....than trying to assemble it.

Mac (Apple Computers) are not open architecture.....that's why if anything goes wrong, u'll never b able to figure out what went wrong. So don't try to assemble a Mac computer.
