My Motherboard Failed on my old Gateway GT 5670 and i want to buy a new computer, but i don't know allot about computers, i need a computer that can handle running my games and having multiple windows open and still run at a fast pace my GT 5670 did great with multiple windows open and games running all at the same time.
here is a link to what i could find on the GT5670
http://www.obsessable.com/desktop/gateway-gt-5670/

And iv been looking at the new gateway DX series
http://www.gateway.com/systems/series/529598086.php

I just want to know which one is better all around, and if there is more than one, which is cheapest, im on a tight budget and i already have a monitor, all i need is the computer itself.

If you're planning on playing games, the GT5670 isn't very good. the GeForce 6150 was a pretty low-end graphics card when it was released, and it's now 6 generations old. The newest games, like Dragon Age: Origins won't even run on it, let alone run well. If you're going with the DX series, you'll want at least the $729.99 one- that's the cheapest one with a real video card.

Well to be honest, with all due respect the $550 models suck. The graphics chip in both of them are hardly capable of doing things for games (not sure how old of a game you plan on playing but nothing newer than 2004 I would imagine)

Take a look at this one:

If you are gonnna spend around $500 then I would highly recommend this behemoth for its amazing specs and low price:

I'm not a gateway fan these days. They're not just what they used to be.

This might interest you, it's a pretty good deal on an HP.
