What should I look at? I see different RAMS and all those other numbers, I want a good cheap one to replace my fried one for around 50$. What do i have to look at, before buying a new one? My slot is a PCI-E.

The around $50 means it will not be a good card for gaming.

I am assuming you mean PCI x16 slot. If you mentioned the make and model number I could be sure.

PCI x16 version 2 is the latest standard and is also compatible with tho older PCI x16 version 1 slots.

Looking at newegg.com for 5 star rated with at least 10 reviews I think these 3 are the best.

Please note the MINIMUM watts and the MINIMUM 12 volt amps required. If your existing power supply is rated less than this you will also need to upgrade your power supply, which will add another $50 or so to your total cost.

Are you searching for high definition graphics also cheap Or getting higher CPU performance at the same time. Just get the nvida Geforce 8400 GS its 256 mb DDR2 and 200-400 MHZ CPU core Its cheaper than the Nvida GeForce 9400 GT (I think). The Geforce 9400 GT has several of the highest/realistic rendering graphics. Its good at anything(better than ATI Cause here the ATI card costs more than NVIDA) performance and graphics. But the 8400 same but slower. and has little pixels. But overall 8400 GS is EXCELLENT AND AFFORDABLE While the 9400 GT is the Ultimate Entertainment for me Right Now. Choose one its either the Nvida 9400 GT or Nvida 8400 GS. FYI: I didn't know there was a 9500 GT. I haven't read its details yet but try it. Its better in software if plus 100(my opinion).

Oh BTW the 9400 GT has PhysX+TurboCache technology and 512MB DDR2 and 450Mhz Core+Full Direct X 10 Shader Model 4.0 support + Nvida Purevideo HD technology

Dual-link HDCP-Capable**

PCI Express2.0 support

Open GL2.1 support

It also says XFX play hard with a

"do not diturb.

hard gamer inside" door knob hanger

You know what. THE 9400,9500,9600 are the same but differ in DDR, CORE speed, and Performance

9400-HD for less

9500-HD for middle Class

9600-HD extreme to the max updates mostly and most preferred(for bringing tomorrow, today)

Among ALL GeForce 8 Series the GeForce 8400 is the best for the 8th generation gaming also there's no PhysX for the 8 series

All motherboards have onboard photos. the clarification we nonetheless have committed photos enjoying cards is that the onboard photos suck. in case you want to play video games, you want a photos card. It would not could desire to be an high priced card- quite lots one and all over 50 kilos will play video games top- yet you are going to need one.
