Hey.... I'm still kinda new on the computer scene but I was wondering if it were possible to run a Mac OS on PC hardware? I assume it is.... but life isn't always that easy :-( I'm too cheap to buy a Mac.... I'm currently using Linux instead..... so would it be possible to do?
I've already had a look around and I really can't find much on it....

Thanks in advance for all answers guys :-) Your time is appreciated.

Most hardware that works for PCs is not compatible with MAC software. But as anything computer related, where there is a will there is a way. When you do your searches look for Hackintosh. Its a PC based MAC operating system. Linux in my opinion is far superior on many aspects to MAC and Windows, but that's my opinion. Here is a link that should help you get started. But of course, you can look around for more info or get yourself other options. http://lifehacker.com/321913/build-a-hackintosh-mac-for-under-800 Please send me a line and tell me how it goes.

You can Google "Hackintosh", but if you haven't picked out every component piece by piece, running it is somewhat of a nightmare. And, to be completely honest, if you're "kinda new to the computer scene" you might get in over your head. I don't mean that in a bad way, but Hackintosh-ing isn't really meant for newbies.

Google "Hackintosh" for a variety of methods. It is possible, at least on some Intel processors. Doesn't work on AMD as far as I know.

No. If you can't find anything on it then you obviously don't know how to use Google.\

Ah, yes, you can. See http://www.emulators.com/. I wouldn't recommend this approach but you might get lucky.
