for product design, this is super overkill!!!!

before spending that kind of money, what software are you going to be using on it?

it would be a HUGE waste of money if your using software that can only use 1 or 2 cores making the duel Xeon processors pointless (they are more for servers)

256GB of RAM is also very pointless, windows 7 ultimate 64 bit can only use a maximum of 192GB,

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa366778(v=vs.85).aspx

and a huge waste of money if the software your using isnt going to be using anywhere near that much. unless your going to be using software that loads up everything and your designing a skyscraper, every room, every single detail, i doubt that you will get anywhere near 256GB of memory use.

do you really need Duel blueray burners?

a USB 3.0 media card reader is also a waste of money, most memory cards will not reach the speeds, better off with a 2.0 one or internal reader.

also the bundled software is a waste of money.

This is massive overkill if you just want to surf the web. It's like taking an aircraft carrier if you just want to go fishing for a while.

This is a workstation meant to be either a small-scale rendering farm by itself or to be a part of a rendering farm. Depending on what you mean by "3D product design company", I'm still leaning towards this being massive overkill - but it all boils down to what software you're intending to run on this computer.
