Please , i need your Suggetion Guys .... I need to Upgrade My PC configuration for 3d Modeling & Rendering with mental ray . but Recently i am Stuck between AMD vs INTEL Processors. and GraphicCard.

My Current PC configuration is :

AMD MotherBoard :

AMD Processor : AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition

RAM : 4 GB RAM

Graphic Card : None

i am Stuck between AMD vs INTEL Processors. because i already have AMD System.

And I am thinking about FX 8350 series to buy because it Not Expensive and i already have AMD System.

Please i wanted to Upgrade my PC but i need some Decent Configuration so that i can Afford it.

If you're gonna use a computer for rendering and modeling and so on, you need the fastest Intel i7 processor you can get, at least 16 GB of RAM, and a really good graphics card.

For an affordable pc build:

Amd fx6300

Ga 78lmt usb3 motherboard

Corsair vs650 psu

Kingston 8gb ram



All the other like hdd and optical drive and case you can keep the old one

4gb of ram for you're memory this the min you need nowadays. you need to increase that as you're scene's models etc gets bigger 3d software are very memory intensive!



It does not really matter about the processor but intel is the best on the market today! i used to run 3ds max with a p75 processor when i first starting using max 7



anyway as for a VGA card i would look at a company called sparkle get a VGA card with a shader 4.0 or above
