I recently changed for Windows XP 32bit to Windows XP 64bit. Now my computer is showing that I lag when I try to play online games. I have 4gb of RAM hence why I changed from 32bit to 64bit so that I could use all of that but for some reason it has made my computer go slower!? I tried mucking about with the Virtual Memory and making 6000+ but that didn't help and the CPU Processes are very high which I don't recall them being in windows 32bit. I don't think I can go back to 32bit because my computer kept freezing when I played games so I thought it was a RAM issue so any help on the 64bit front would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Andrew

Firstly, it is very unlikely that you actually OWN a license for the 64bit windows xp version.

Secondly, there are VERY little programs that are designed to RUN on the 64bit windows xp version. That is why you have shoddy preformance.

Either go to vista, 7, or 8 64bit and you will be fine.
