Just want to know what is a mid range card thats better than the GeForce 8600GT or even maybe run SLI with it. Not trying to break the bank. say 100 Bucks Any suggestions.

Truth fully the best thing to do is contact the manufacturer and ask what they suggest.

Well Core 2 isn't the most powerful cpu on earth anymore, but it's not bad, I'd go with a nvidia 550, or radeon 6750, both are around $100, and they should both run pretty well with your processor, I wouldn't call the manufactuar, those guys have no idea what's going on.



I wouldn't run SLI or crossfire unless you have really super awsome cards, because when you run SLI they both run at about 60% efficency, so you'd be better off taking the money you'd be spending on two and buying one thats way better by itself, then later if you really want to you buy a card of equal or greater proformance.

yeah a radeon 6750 would be good. but also make sure that your power suppply can still support that when you add it in. A low wattage power supply can ruin your pc
