What do I look for when shopping for 5.25 Floppy Disks for my Dad's Commodore 64/128? I see some say formatted IBM. I assume that is NOT what I want. Is there anything to look for on the package?

You can still buy 5.25" floppies on eBay and other sites. What you have to look for is double density disks. They should be labeled either 1SDD (single sided, double density) or 2SDD (double sided, double density). It doesn't matter if they're IBM formatted or not because they'll have to be reformatted in the Commodore floppy drive.

Don't buy high density disks (1SHD or 2SHD) because they aren't recognized in the Commodore drives, and even though it looks like they take a format, they actually don't work. I don't know why. I made that mistake when I bought a box loaded with high density floppy disks from a Radio Shack that was going out of business, and now I have no use for them because my Commodore 1541 floppy drive can't use them.

First you need to find someone who has a working Time Machine and then go back in time about 30 Years,

Then you will find floppy disks.

Formatted IBM is right. But they are surely not manufactured new. Any you buy will be second-hand and more than 20 years old. I doubt if any of them work.
