My computer wont let me change my background, what do i do?

On my windows 7 acer labtop, it wont let me change my background!! I did virus scans and theres no viruses, and whenever i try to use a picture from my computer as a background, it says internal error and when i try to use one from the internet, it says access denied!!! Help!

It sounds like you are not an administrator on your PC, so you cannot change any settings. To make yourself an administrator, you will need access to an administrator's account.



When you have access to an admin account, go to:

Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > Manage Another Account > Click on your account > Change the Account Type > Administrator > Change Account Type (Button).

sounds like you're not an administrator. give yourself admin rights, then go to desktop>right click>personalize

click on that restoration message on your exhibit screen and abode windows might want to automaticaly do some thing else. If it doesnt artwork verify your administration panel for visual attraction settings. (besides the indisputable fact that it is going to artwork)
