Fine for browsing the net, e-mail, Youtube, shopping online, paying bills online, etc, etc, etc... Perfectly FINE non-gaming PC.

And the power button on the case -- like ALL power buttons on cases -- connects to the motherboard's 'front panel' connectors. The motherboard manual will have a detailed page showing WHERE each front panel connector gets installed on the motherboard.

For work? Yes it is. For gaming? Not so much. All you need is a better graphics card which you can buy online. Make sure it's compatible with the mother board and stuff! At the moment I'm using an Nvidia GTX 660 and it works well. You may also need to upgrade the CPU as 2.5 ghz isn't that great. I would be looking for atleast 3.0 ghz

Good luck!

I'm not exactly sure if that is all compatible, although i do not recommend using a built in graphics card and a dual core processor if it is for gaming, you also might want 6-8 GB of Ram again that's just my opinion. Quad core processors are worth the extra buck in my opinion and for the power button and case lights, they should all connect(at least mine do) together and then 1 of them will go into the Mobo. Hope this helps

I think your parameters are really very low for now days desktop computers.

Dual-Core is an outdated processor. (take an i3 or i5 instead)

4GB is not enough. (at least 6 gb)

Hard Drive with 8 MB Cache. (Try 64mb instead)

Dedicated Graphics Card is a must.

Anyway if you want your pc for just browsing in internet and using microsoft office suite it is ok even with your parameters.

if you need help making sure parts are compatible, go here: http://pcpartpicker.com/

wires for power button, hdd light, etc. will plug into the motherboard, which is plugged into the power supply. case fans/lights plug into the power supply.
