It has a crappy motherboard but i have a max overclocked AMD athlon 64 x2 4800. most of these chips hit a wall at 3 ghz, but i got 3.022 ghz

I am on a desktop my husband and I built together about six months ago. It is Windows Vista Ultimate Service Pack 1.

Asus PK5-E motherboard

Intel Dual Core 2

Antec case with super quiet technology

Antec 550 watt Power Supply

4 gigabytes RAM 800 Mhtz

Seagate 500 gigabyte hard disk

Pioneer CD/DVD Multi-Recorder/Player/ROM with Lightscribe

9/1 Media Card Reader

Floppy Drive

ATI Radeon HD 2900 512mb Video Card

Creative Extreme Sound Card

Ethernet port and WiFi

6 Sata hard disk ports

8 USB ports

2 Firewire ports

Asus quiet fans

3 empty PCI expansion slots

2 empty PCI x1 expansion slots

Nice keyboard and multi-function mouse

Optiquest 22" monitor

One 300 gigabyte external USB hard disk

Creative 5.1 surround sound speaker setup

Software: Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007, Panda Internet Security Suite '09, Microsoft Live Suite, Roxio Creator Suite 9, Creative Suite, Photo, Firefox, CoolIris, and assorted Windows utilities and applications and my Asus suite. I don't load my system with software I won't use, thus I don't have to remove stuff and junk up my Registry. I do NOT use Registry Cleaner/Optimizer utilities because they cause far more harm than any good they may do.

I love my system, it is very powerful and is fun to use. My monitor is simply the best, large and roomy. I have loads of room for additional customization and plan on adding a TV Tuner soon so it can function as my DVR. I currently use my older Dell Media Center as my multifunction entertainment system/DVR and it sits in the living room for guests to use too. We also have a system my husband and I built for him, and we built and use a Windows Home Server. All together we run four systems in our network and our guests who bring laptops easily connect to our WiFi on the Router via our pass phrase.

I have a pentium 3 862 mhz 768 MB of ram DDR

My hd is 80 gigs and too small. I could put another one but I don't want to lose everything that I have. I do have an external hardrive. My video card is 16MB and plenty for what I do. I do not play games only online games and I have enough for that.

My computer is fast enough for me. I have highspeed so the internet is very fast.

E8400 @ 3.6GHz (C2D 1333MHz FSB up to 1600MHz, minor VCore change, can go further).

4GB OCZ Platinum 800MHz RAM, which went up to 880 (me thinks) by accident :P

XFX 680i LT motherboard (I know, terrible :O)

Akasa CPU fan (which has big blue LED's, so I know its working lol)

NVidia 9600GT (forget which brand), which is quite happy...

700W Jeantech PSU (which weighs a ton ^^)

Standard 'Deathstar' HDD

Standard ODD

Antec 900 (its very blue lol)

Windows Vista 64 bit (BASIC FTWWWW)

Got another one I made with same specs but a XFX 9600GT and a Q6600. Picture is below...

Dayan... did all you do is cut a hole in the top of the case? and you stuck it on wiki for that xD ^^ although those multi-coloured lights are pretty..

AMD 64 X2 4200 on asus M2N-E 2Gb PC6400 DDR2 RAM on dual channel...128bit memory

factory overclocked 8600gt with ddr3 memory

I have xp and vista nvidia evolution on dual boot on an 80gb and 500gb WD HDD's...power supply is a crappy 450 watt box.

Anyway it works for most games including (ho!ho!ho!) FALLOUT 3 and CRYSIS warhead.Other than those I use it mostly for Cakewalk SONAR.
